The present invention relates to a hepatoma-targeted ultrasound contrast agent and a preparation method thereof and, particularly, to a hepatoma-targeted ultrasound contrast agent comprising a gas generation core and a hyaluronic acid shell and a preparation method thereof. According to the present invention, provided are a hepatoma-targeted ultrasound contrast agent which is delivered specifically to hepatocytes to easily distinguish normal hepatocytes and tumoral hepatocytes by ultrasound imaging, exhibits excellent stability under aqueous conditions, and does not cause cytotoxicity; and a preparation method thereof.
