The invention regards an airfoil article including a composite skin (5) forming a leading edge (4), the composite skin (5) being during use subjected to an airflow (a) meeting the leading edge (4) at stagnation points (SP), where the airflow (a) being divided into a first (a1) and second (a2) airflow, and at which stagnation points (SP) the airflow swirls. The leading edge (4) comprises a flush elongated member (9, 9'…9''''', 30, 32, 36, 38, 39), the elongated member having an extension being parallel with an imaginary line (IL) intersecting with the stagnation points (SP). The elongated member is arranged primarily for erosion protection. |
