An electrode plate and wrapped plate structure of a lead-acid storage battery, comprising: positive electrode plates (1), negative electrode plates (2), and septa (3) for separating the positive electrode plates and the negative electrode plates. The tops of the positive electrode plates and the negative electrode plates are all provided with tabs (12, 22). The positive electrode plates and the negative electrode plates are spaced and alternately arranged by the septa (3). The septa (3) are bar-shaped and are wound back and forth sequentially along the width direction of each positive electrode plate (1) or negative electrode plate (2). The edges of the tops of the septa (3) are higher than the tops of the positive electrode plates (1) or the negative electrode plates (2) and lower than the tops of the tabs. The lower edges of the septa (3) extend beyond the bottoms of the positive electrode plates (1) or the negative electrode plates (2). The wrapped plate structure can effectively prevent short circuiting of the electrode plates, and in particular, is suitable for net-style electrode plates. A lead-acid storage battery adopts the above-mentioned electrode plate and wrapped plate structure of a lead-acid storage battery. The lead-acid storage battery comprises a battery jar and a battery cover. The battery cover is provided with a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal. The battery electrode plate group is disposed in the battery jar. Tabs of positive electrode plates and negative electrode plates are electrically connected to the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal through a convergence conductor, respectively. The battery has a long service life and is highly safe.
