The present invention relates to a charcoal basket in which charcoal used as a heat source for a roaster can be contained. The charcoal basket according to the present invention comprises: a basket having multiple air holes formed in all sides thereof at regular intervals except the opened front side thereof; and at least one partitioning plate having multiple air holes and installed in the basket. According to the present invention, the basket capable of containing the charcoal therein is formed into a metal net with the air holes or is formed into the charcoal basket of which the bottom wall, the front wall, the rear wall, the left wall, and the right wall are plates with the air holes, and has the partitioning plates having the air holes and partitioning the inside thereof. According to the present invention, while the charcoal baskets containing the charcoal are arranged on top of each other, a heat source from an igniter is transmitted from the bottom surface of the bottom charcoal basket to the top charcoal basket through the air holes so that the charcoals in all of the charcoal basket can be quickly ignited at once, and the charcoal baskets containing the charcoal is quickly supplied to the roasters of customers so that the ignition time of the charcoal can be reduced largely and extra persons in charge of ignition can be excluded. |
