<p>Disclosed is an isolated antibody, or an antigen-binding portion or a derivative thereof, comprising: (a) a first CDR set, CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3, that sequentially together comprises the amino acid sequences of heavy chain variable region CDRs, CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3, sequentially together, that are included in the amino acid sequence as set forth in any one of SEQ ID Nos. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16, or antigen-binding fragments thereof; and (b) a second CDR set, CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3, that sequentially together comprises the amino acid sequences of light chain variable region CDRs, CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3, sequentially together, that are included in the amino acid sequence as set forth in any one of SEQ ID Nos. 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30, or antigen-binding fragments thereof, wherein said antibody or antigen binding portion binds to glucagon receptor, and wherein the sequences are as disclosed in the complete specification. Also disclosed is the use of said antibody in the manufacture of a medicament for lowering blood glucose, improving glucose tolerance, or for treating, preventing or inhibiting type II diabetes, dyslipidaemia or related disease in a subject in need thereof.</p> |
