<p>The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for measuring the friction coefficient in the conveying belts for saving energy. According to the invention, the apparatus measures the global friction coefficient of a conveying belt () and it is provided with a roller () which is applied on a moving piece () and rotates an axle (), which drives a counter () which measures the length run, on the belt, until stopping, while a chronometer () measures the time elapsed until stopping. The claimed method consists in measuring the distance and time of moving until stopping, on a conveying belt, and the individual friction coefficient of the roller placed on the belt.</p> |
