The present invention relates to a method for testing overload of a sea crane and a testing apparatus suit for the method, and more particularly, to a method for testing overload of a sea crane and a testing apparatus suit for the method which can test whether a sea crane is suitable for safety working load at the time of a test working of the sea crane installed on a vessel, such as a drill ship, to tow marine structures. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for testing overload of a sea crane and a testing apparatus suit for the method which can test overload without moving a load cell manufactured to test overload of the crane to a test place, thereby reducing costs and time required for testing overload, reducing the total manufacturing period of a vessel or a platform on which the sea crane is installed. In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a testing apparatus comprises: a fixed body (1) mounted on the vessel on which the crane is installed to bear pulling power of the crane; and a plurality of pad eyes (2) formed on the fixed body (1) and formed to catch a hook using an operating radius according to a test load at the time of testing overload of the crane. Furthermore, the method for testing overload for a sea crane according to the present invention comprises the steps of: installing a crane on the fixed body (1) of the vessel; retaining a hook of the crane (C) to the pad eyes (2); and testing overload with a predetermined test load according to the safety working load while pulling the hook. |
