The present invention relates to a steering column device for a vehicle to improve marketability by improving shocking absorbing performance during a vehicle collision. The present invention provides the steering column device for a vehicle, wherein the device includes: an upper mounting bracket which is coupled to a vehicle body to be fixed; a sliding guide which is coupled to the bottom of the upper mounting bracket to be fixed and has a rail structure on the left and right thereof; and a distant bracket which is connected to the upper mounting bracket through the sliding guide, is guided and supported to move rearward, and is coupled to the upper housing of a steering column, thereby preventing the horizontal movement of the steering column during collapse.
