According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for automatic structural design is disclosed. The method for automatic structural design comprises the steps of: receiving data including a cross section of a structural member; extracting arrangement information of the structural member and design load from the data by receiving the data; estimating the load applied to each member based on the arrangement information of the structural member and the design load; calculating an axial force of the member based on the estimated load for each member; and designing a structural member according to the predefined design criterion using the calculated axial force of the member. |
