The bead (1) has an assembly unit integrating an automatic locking unit (8) to cooperate with a complementary unit of support section or frame section during the assembly of the bead. The locking unit includes an elastically deformable wing equipped with fixing or interlocking elements (8'). The wing includes a transmission unit (10) to transmit a compressive force exerted on a main wall (3) toward the wing so as to allow a mutual disengagement of the fixing or interlocking elements of the locking unit. An independent claim is also included for a device for assembling a profiled glazing bead on a support section.
