Disclosed are a method, apparatus and system for acquiring a playback data stream of real-time video communication. The method includes: in a real-time video communication process, a real-time video communication terminal, while outputting an audio/video code stream of the current real-time video communication, once again performing intermittent and timed video coding with key frames on a video code stream in the audio/video code stream; and the real-time video communication terminal storing the re-coded audio/video code stream in a storage device of the real-time video communication terminal. By means of the present invention, network resources can be saved and the cost can be lowered.
