One embodiment of the present invention provides a rechargeable battery which improves the strength of a case by changing a structure. A rechargeable battery according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a case which receives an electrode assembly, a cap plate which covers the opening part of the case, and an electrode terminal which is installed in a terminal hole of the cap plate and is electrically connected to the electrode assembly. The case includes a sidewall which is connected to each other and has one side where an opening part is formed, a bottom which is connected to the sidewall in the opposite side of the opening part, and a reinforcement part which forms the edge of the sidewall with a curved surface and increases the thickness of the edge. |
