The device has a set of disks (3) that is positioned above a slide having longitudinal folds (2), where a set of papers or paperboard is able to be inserted in the longitudinal folds during rotation of the folds. Another set of disks is provided for allowing systematic folding of the paperboards of different sizes. A shock absorber is provided in the form of a calibrated spring. The spring is able to be actuated automatically on arrival of a heavy or thick flat body. A set of chains is positioned at different heights at the top of the slide.
