The arrangement has an armored door (26) comprising a door frame that includes telescopic uprights (28, 30) fixed transversely on both sides of an access. A vertical transverse armored door leaf (36) completely covers the access and pivots on one of the uprights between a closed position and an open position. A locking device (42) locks the door leaf on the other upright. The door leaf in the closed position is arranged in a room (10) at longitudinal distance of the door to allow half opening of the door to control the locking device. An independent claim is also included for an armored door.
