The present invention relates to a viscous damper and, more specifically, to a viscous damper which is able to efficiently absorb vibration by improving buffer power by comprising: a cylinder comprising a main body which has a hollow part formed inside, a first cap which seals the upper end of the main body and has a connection bar, and a second cap which seals the lower end of the main body; a stopper comprising a first stopper of a ring shape which is installed inside the main body and a second stopper of a ring shape which forms an accommodation space which accommodates viscous oil between the first stopper and the second stopper by being installed in the main body in order to be separated from the first stopper at a predetermined distance; a rim block comprising a first rim block which is installed in the main body in order to adhere to the first stopper and has a ring shape which has an internal diameter formed to be smaller than the first stopper and a second rim block which is installed in the main body in order to adhere to the second stopper and has a ring shape which has an internal diameter formed to be smaller than the second stopper; and a cylinder rod comprising a rod which linearly moves inside the main body by penetrating the second cap of the cylinder and a piston which moves between the first stopper and the second stopper by being formed to protrude from one side of the outer circumference surface of the rod. |
