PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that reduces a fluid remaining in a temporal fluid stock layer and accelerates transition of the fluid to a fluid absorbent layer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 10 includes a surface sheet 11, a back surface sheet 12, a temporal fluid stock layer 13 located between both of the sheets, and a fluid absorbent layer 14 located between the temporal stock layer 13 and the back surface sheet 12. The temporal stock layer 13 comprises a fiber-stacked body containing cross-linking cellulose fibers. The temporal stock layer 13 is composed of a plurality of high basis weight parts 13a having relatively high basis weight, and low basis weight parts 13b having relatively low basis weight, and includes a plurality of block structures where the periphery of each of the high weight basis parts 13a is surrounded by a groove part formed of the low basis weight parts 13b. The low basis weight parts 13b are placed so as to be unevenly distributed at a skin contact surface side or a skin non-contact surface side. The absorbent layer 14 contains a high-absorbent polymer. |
