PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate an angular velocity sensor for a zero-point offset, thereby enabling the rotation angle of an antenna to be controlled speedily with high accuracy.SOLUTION: While a communication satellite tracking unit 4 is controlling the rotation angle of an antenna 1 on the basis of a received-strength measurement, a measured-time average calculation unit 8 calculates a time average of the rotation velocity of the antenna 1 on the basis of output of an angular velocity sensor 5, and an instructed-time average calculation unit 7 calculates a time average of the rotation velocity of the antenna 1 instructed by the communication satellite tracking unit 4. Here, the time average of the former rotation velocity is affected by a zero-point offset of the angular velocity sensor 5, but the time average of the latter rotation velocity is not affected by the zero-point offset of the angular velocity sensor 5. Therefore, an offset calculation unit 9 can calculate the zero-point offset of the angular velocity sensor 5 by subtracting the latter rotation velocity from the former rotation velocity. |
