<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a changing condition for changing a drive current value of a fuel injection valve by using fuel pressure and engine revolution, and to appropriately control a drive state of the fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: In a control device for controlling a drive current applied to a fuel injection valve having a solenoid, the drive current applied on the basis of an injection pulse for injecting fuel is determined, by fuel pressure applied to the fuel injection valve or predicted fuel pressure based thereon and engine revolution or predicted engine revolution based thereon, whether to control the drive current flowing through the solenoid to be applied until a valve body becomes unopenable or the above control is necessary, and an injection pulse width is calculated from fuel pressure, fuel temperature, engine revolution and injection frequency in one process. Further, holding time of the drive current at a maximum value and a minimum value is similarly controlled.</p> |
