PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jib fixing method of a mobile tower crane capable of easily executing release work of a jib fixing state after assembling an attachment, and capable of also reducing work labor when changing a constitution of a boom and a jib of the attachment.SOLUTION: The mobile tower crane is formed by undulatively installing the base end of a boom 4 around a boom foot pin 5 in a front part of an upper turning body 2, undulatively installing the base end of the jib on the tip of the boom and suspending a hook 9 via a hoisting rope 8 from the tip of the jib. The jib fixing method is provided for fixing the jib to the boom by making predetermined tension act on a connection member 42, by hoisting the hoisting rope, by hooking the hook on the connection member 42 fastened to a fastening part 41, by folding up the jin on the boom side, when assembling-disassembling the attachment, after providing the fastening part 41 in advance in the vicinity of the boom foot pin at a front part of the upper turning body. |
