The present invention is a personal, portable hanging device that allows a user to temporarily and securely engage transportation hand-holds (e.g. a grab bar on a subway, boat, train, etc.) in a sanitary manner. The elongate device includes two loops at each end that are connected by two rigid intermediate sections that extend from the end of each loop and the two intermediate sections are joined by a central section. The central section includes a material with a high coefficient of friction that helps prevent the device from sliding along the hand-hold when in use. The loops are sized and shaped to receive a user's hands so that the user can hold onto the device and indirectly be secured to the transportation hand-hold. The device also includes fasteners to temporarily secure the device to a handhold or fold the device in a sanitary manner for storage. |
