<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device and a coordinate input system capable of identifying and simultaneously using both a light emission pen and a finger, and instantaneously recognizing that any contact other than the light emission pen has been made to remove the detection coordinates of the hand which has made a contact in accordance with the contact of the light emission pen with a light guide member.SOLUTION: A coordinate input device (3A) is configured such that the rays of light to be emitted from a light source unit (4A) and the rays of light emitted from a light emission pen 9 have different wavelength, and that imaging units (20, 30) identify the wavelength of both rays of light. The coordinate input device includes: a determination part (16) for determining whether or not the contact of a non-light emission body to be detected such as the hand with a light guide plate (10) has been made in accordance with the contact of the light emission pen (9) with the light guide plate (10); and a removal part (17) for removing the position coordinates of the contact of the non-light emission body to be detected with the light guide plate (10) when it is determined that the contact of the non-light emission body to be detected with the light guide plate (10) has been made in accordance with the contact of the light emission pen (9) with the light guide plate (10) by the determination part (16).</p> |
