<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker suppressing an amount of generated steam when a lid is opened, when stopping rice-cooking operation or warm-retaining operation.SOLUTION: A rice cooker includes: a pot; heating coil 16 heating the pot; a body; a lid; pressure-reducing means making pressure inside the body lower than the atmospheric pressure; heat control means 111; and inhibition means making the body and the lid into closed state. The heat control means 111 continuously drives the pressure-reducing means and continuously operates the inhibition means until a predetermined period of time passes, when receiving signals for stopping rice cooking operation. In the result, steam inside the body is collected and an amount of generated steam is reduced when the lid is opened.</p> |
