PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increased coloring material from being consumed for monochromatic decoration output in comparison to for normal monochromatic output.SOLUTION: An image processing system comprises: determination means which on the basis of the number of pixels composing data of each color included in color image data, determines each color and a decoration pattern corresponding to the color; and monochromatic decoration output means which decorates data of the colors included in the color image data with each color and the decoration pattern corresponding to the color determined by the determination means, thereby performing monochromatic decoration output on the color image data.
