<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head which can suppress invasion of a liquid from a peeling portion even when a nozzle end has been peeled by a stress of a nozzle layer, and has a high reliability.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes: a substrate 4 having a discharge energy generating element which generates energy for discharging a liquid; and a coating resin layer 1 having a discharge port 11 for discharging the liquid and a liquid flow passage 12 in communication with the discharge port. The liquid discharge head has a liquid invasion preventing structure 3 on the side wall of the coating resin layer on the substrate. The liquid invasion preventing structure is buried in the middle part of the side wall of the coating resin layer through the side wall of the coating resin layer from the surface of the substrate which is not covered with the coating resin layer.</p> |
