PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening device capable of enhancing the strength of a panel body holding groove without increasing the depth direction dimension of a stile/rail body or frame body, and capable of maintaining the holding state of the panel body when a fire occurs.SOLUTION: A panel body 5 is housed in a frame body or stile/rail body 4 constituted by framing a stringer 35 with one end opened and a cross member 20 via an opening. The stringer 35 and the cross member 20 have respectively panel body holding grooves 36, 22 provided with bottom walls 36c, 22c extending in a width direction respectively and indoor side walls 36a, 22a and outdoor side walls 36b, 22b respectively rising from the indoor side and the outdoor side of the bottom wall to an in-plane direction. At least one of the stringer and the cross member has a thick part 36e which is thicker than the other part of the indoor side wall and the outdoor side wall on the bottom wall 36c side of the indoor side wall or outdoor side wall 36b. |
