PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overlap an object such as a person in a projected image on a transmission type screen.SOLUTION: An electronic signboard device 1 comprises: a projection device 20 projecting an image according to an image signal; a transmission type screen 80 provided in a projection destination of the projection device 20 and shaped in an outline of an object; and a position input device 60 specifying a position of a first reference point 80a in the screen 80 and inputting the position. The projection device 20 includes: a system controller 31 calculating a vector from a position of a second reference point 94 in an object in an image to the position of the first reference point 80a; an image signal processing part 24 moving in parallel the image of the image signal for the calculated vector; a display element 26 displaying an image according to an image signal of the image moved in parallel by the image signal processing part 24; and a projection lens 29 projecting the image displayed on the display element 26.
