PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light emitting element which improves the heat radiation performance and improves the light extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: A semiconductor light emitting element according to one embodiment includes a laminate structure, first and second electrodes, a substrate, and dielectric parts. The laminate structure includes first and second semiconductor layers and a light emitting layer. The first semiconductor layer includes first and second regions. The light emitting layer is provided on the second region and the second semiconductor layer is provided on the light emitting layer. The first electrode includes a contact part on the first region and a drawing part. The second electrode includes first and second portions. The first portion is provided on the second semiconductor layer. The second portion has a portion overlapping with the contact part. The second portion is disposed between the substrate and the contact part and the first portion is disposed between the substrate and the second semiconductor layer. The substrate has an edge part which does not overlap with the laminate structure. The drawing part extends from the contact part to the edge part. The drawing part includes an edge portion overlapping with the edge part. The dielectric parts are provided at a space between the contact part and the second portion and a space between the edge portion and the second electrode. |
