PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electric discharge machine capable of executing machining by correcting machining source voltage, by arithmetically operating an electric current in machining, before starting regular machining, in the wire electric discharge machine.SOLUTION: In the wire electric discharge machine, a peak current in manual processing is arithmetically operated by measuring a mean current and a discharge frequency in machining in a measurement section in an approach passage before the regular machining, and voltage of a machining power source is corrected by a comparison between the peak current in the machining and the peak current being a reference. Thus, a correction can be made after adding influence of a workpiece, and the correction of the source voltage is also made in response to a measurement result in a section just before the regular machining, so that a highly accurate correction can be made without a delay. |
