PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device capable of stably conveying a mat board on which an article is placed.SOLUTION: The packaging device packages with a film an article placed on a pedestal together with the pedestal. The packaging device comprises a conveyance mechanism 50 comprising an endless belt 51 and a driving portion 55 for rotatively driving the belt 51 and a guide roller for guiding the film. Further the conveyance mechanism 50 comprises a conveying portion 60 provided on an outer lateral face of the belt 51. The conveying portion 60 comprises a first conveying portion 61 and a second conveying portion 62. The first conveying portion 61 comprises a first protruding portion and an extending portion and regulates the upward movement of the pedestal arranged at a space sandwiched by the belt 51 and the extending portion. The second conveying portion 62 comprises a second protruding portion. The second protruding portion protrudes outward from a position separated with prescribed distance from the first conveying portion 61. The second conveying portion 62 preses the pedestal downstream in a conveying direction. |
