PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device capable of appropriately contacting a flim closely with a pedestal and an article.SOLUTION: The packaging device packages with a film an article placed on a pedestal together with the pedestal. The packaging device comprises a conveyance mechanism that conveys the pedestal and a guide roller that guides the film. A CPU of the packaging device conveys the pedestal downstream (S13 and S25). The CPU, when an upstream side end of the pedestal moves further downstream from an intersection where a movement path of the guide roller intersects with a conveyance path, moves the guide roller along the movement path from the upper side to the lower side of the conveyance path (S27). After moving the guide roller, the CPU conveys the pedestal upstream until the upstream side end of the pedestal is positioned at a further upstream side than the intersection (S29). After conveying the pedestal, the CPU inhibits the guide roller from rotating (S31) and cuts the film (S33). |
