PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input apparatus capable of acquiring information inputted by a user through a writing tool and capable of detecting an opened/closed state of a second casing against a first casing.SOLUTION: A foldable information input apparatus 2 capable of acquiring information inputted by a user through a writing tool includes: a first detection part and a second detection part capable of detecting a position of the adjacent writing tool; a first casing 8L storing the first detection part and capable of placing one page of spread pages of a booklet type recording medium 100; a second casing 8R storing the second detection part and capable of placing the other page of the spread pages; a moving part of which the one-end 91 is fixed on the first casing 8L and the other end 92 is stored in the second casing 8R movably in accordance with the opened/closed state of the second casing 8R against the first casing 8L; and a detection part 95 for detecting whether or not the position of the other end 92 of the moving part 9 in the second casing 8R exists in a predetermined range. |
