PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sealing performance of a connector assembly by securely restricting rotation of a sealing member in a circumferential direction of a housing.SOLUTION: A connector assembly comprises: a housing 1 holding a wire-side terminal 2 and fitted in a mounting hole formed in the case of a connection-mate-side apparatus; and a sealing member 3 attached to a groove part 16 recessed all the way around the outer periphery 11 of the housing, and keeping the inside of the case liquid tight by being interposed between the groove part 16 and the inner periphery of the mounting hole. The sealing member has in a curved area a projecting part 33 formed in an annular continuous belt and projecting in the width direction from the edge of at least one of the peripheries. In the groove part 16, at least one of groove walls 16b and 16c opposite with a groove bottom 16a between them has a recessed part 18, which is recessed so as to correspond to a projecting part. The projecting part and the recessed part are formed so as to engage each other in a direction along the curved portion of the sealing member. |
