According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a display device, a touch sensor, a housing, and a motion sensor. The display device includes a display screen. The touch sensor is configured to detect an operation performed at a display screen side of the display device. The housing includes a first end and a second end. The first end is positioned at a periphery side of the display screen and configured to be supported by a support. The second end is positioned at the periphery side of the display screen and at a side opposite the first end. The housing is configured to support the display device in a manner so that the display screen is viewable. The housing is configured to house an electrical component. The motion sensor is provided in the housing at a position closer to the first end than to the second end. |
