PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a suitable friction force according to a load.SOLUTION: In a vibration control structure, a building frame is provided with plural dampers arranged between a pair of members relatively moving in a predetermined direction, and restraining the relative movement by a friction force of pressure-welding plates sliding together with the relative movement, and vibration is controlled in connection with the friction dampers. The friction damper comprises: a first pressure-welding plate provided to one of the pair of members; and a second pressure-welding plate provided to the other of the pair of members. The second pressure-welding plate is provided with a long hole with which the plate can slide by a predetermined traveling amount. The first pressure-welding plate pressure-welded to a first friction damper is coupled with the first pressure-welding plate pressure-welded to a second friction damper, so that they can relatively move by a traveling amount smaller than the predetermined traveling amount. |
