PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which does not exceed a communication band as much as possible during communicating information obtained by the preceding vehicle to a subsequent vehicle by using the flickering of light.SOLUTION: In the case of receiving brake information (S100: YES), an inter-vehicle distance to the preceding vehicle is calculated (S110), and a distance to a braked vehicle is calculated (S120). In the case that a braking distance at the current speed of an own vehicle is larger than a distance to the braked vehicle (S130: YES), the brake information is relayed to the subsequent vehicle (S140), and in the case that the braking distance at the current speed of the own vehicle is equal to or shorter than a distance to the braked vehicle (S130: NO), the brake information is discarded. |
