<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current take-out mechanism suitable for taking out large-capacity current in a secondary battery housing a flat-shaped electrode body.SOLUTION: A square-shaped secondary battery includes: a flat-shaped electrode body having a positive electrode and a negative electrode; a square-shaped outer can having an opening and housing the electrode body; and a sealing plate for sealing the opening, in which the electrode body has a positive electrode collector plate group on one end and a negative electrode collector plate group on the other end, in which the positive electrode collector plate group is connected with a positive electrode collector tab member and the negative electrode collector plate group is connected with a negative electrode collector tab member. At least one of the positive electrode collector tab member and the negative electrode collector tab member has: a plate-like first area disposed between the sealing plate and the electrode body; and a second area which is bent from an end of the first area and extends toward inside the square-shaped outer can, in which a gap portion is provided on a root portion of the second area in the first area.</p> |
