PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestal for mounting an article thereon capable of protecting the article from an impact applied on a packing box without using a packaging material.SOLUTION: A pedestal 2 comprises: an approximately rectangular plate part 90; bent parts 911, 912 extended linearly between opposite sides 901, 902 of the plate part 90; a plurality of bottom surface parts 92 having a cut portion and provided respectively near each of four intersections 913, 914, 915, 916 where each of the bent parts 911, 912 intersects with each of the sides 901, 902; and a plurality of side surface parts 93 having a cut portion and provided substantially in the center of each of the bent parts 911, 912. The bottom surface part 92 includes: a pair of first bottom surface cut portions 921; and a second bottom surface cut portion 922 extended between the pair of the first bottom surface cut portions 921. The side surface 93 includes: a pair of first side surface cut portions 931; and a second side surface cut portion 932 extended between the first side surface cut portions 931. |
