PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device and a recording method in which image processing load is light and highly-accurate correction of image density unevenness can be performed.SOLUTION: A recording device for doing recording by using a recording head including plural nozzle rows which have plural nozzles discharging ink arranged comprises: estimating means for estimating ink concentration degree to show as an accumulated value; management means for managing the accumulated value estimated by the estimating means; correcting means for correcting an input value of record concentration signal on a pixel under attention; accumulated value changing amount table for correlating the accumulated value and the input value with changing amount of the accumulated value; and a correction table for specifying a correction value of the input value depending on the accumulated value. The correcting means corrects the input value to a correction value by referring to the correction value of the correction table from the accumulated value and the input value, and the estimating means refers to the changing amount of the accumulated value changing amount table from the input value after correction and the accumulated value, and updates the accumulated value managed by the management means. |
