<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable display luminance of a display to be automatically adjusted to a correct value in an on-vehicle device provided with the display and communicatable with a portable information terminal.SOLUTION: Smartphone luminance KIDOS indicative of a luminance value of a display screen set in a smartphone 100 is acquired, and luminance KIDOS of a display 4 is controlled on the basis of the smartphone luminance KIDOS. Since the smartphone luminance KIDOS set in a smartphone 100 is regarded as a correct value to a user, the luminance KIDOS of the display 4 is controlled on the basis of the smartphone luminance KIDOS, and thereby it is unnecessary for the user to set display luminance of the display 4 beforehand, and just only bringing the smartphone 100 into a vehicle enables the luminance KIDOS of the display 4 to be adjusted to the correct value.</p> |
