Disclosed are a touchscreen panel and a manufacturing method thereof. The touchscreen panel according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a sensing electrode pattern formed on a display area of a base member; a light-shielding layer formed on a non-display area of the base member; and a position detection line which is formed on the light-shielding layer and has an end extended to the display area to be in contact with the sensing electrode pattern.
