PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin substrate suitable as a raw material for a cured product having good curing reactivity and excellent heat resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a functionalized α-olefin polymer which has a hydroxyl group in an α-olefin polymer and satisfies the following(1) to (5): (1) the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 1000 to 500000, (2) the molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) is 1.1 to 2.5, (3) the number of the hydroxyl groups per one molecule is 1.1 to 4.5, (3) the latent heat of fusion &Dgr;H-D measured by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) is 50 J/g or less, and (5) the α-olefin polymer is a propylene homopolymer, a 1-butene homopolymer or a propylene-1-butene copolymer. |
