PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair spring unit which is composed of a set of a coil spring having a pretension applied thereto and paired spring receivers, and which is suppressed in cost and simplified in assembly by reducing components.SOLUTION: A rod 39c formed at one spring receiver 39 enters the hole 54 of the other spring receiver 38. The rod 39c is equipped at its leading end with an outward engagement portion 39d, whereas the end plate 38f of the other spring receiver 39 is formed with a notched groove 55, through which the engagement portion 39d passes. When the two spring receivers 38 and 39 are relatively turned after the rod 39c was fitted, the two spring receivers 38 and 39 are held so as not to come off. The spring unit is constituted of only the essential elements, so that the trouble of the member management can be eliminated while simplifying the assembly. |
