摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device capable of achieving power saving with a simple configuration that requires no mechanism to maintain winding of a spiral spring and no mechanism to release the winding.SOLUTION: An integrated optical unit 1 includes an erection member 11 and a wind power generating device 9, which are respectively provided erected on any of the surfaces of the integrated optical unit 1. The wind power generating device 9 includes a rotation shaft 10 that rotates in a predetermined direction by the wind power generated due to the movement of the integrated optical unit 1, and a power generator 15 that generates power from the rotation of the rotation shaft 10. The rotation shaft 10 is connected with a part of the erection member 11 with an elastic body 12; the elastic body 12 is wound into the rotation shaft 10 from the rotation of the rotation shaft 10 in the predetermined direction to generate elastic force; and the power generator 15 generates power from the rotation of the rotation shaft 10 in the predetermined direction caused by the wind power and the rotation of the rotation shaft 10 in a direction opposite to the predetermined direction generated by the elastic force.
