PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device including a low power consumption sense amplifier circuit having a small area.SOLUTION: The semiconductor device comprises: a first control circuit 101 controlling an output voltage according to the voltage of a first node connected to a bit line; and a second control circuit 102 controlling current flowing on the bit line via the first node in accordance with the output voltage. The first control circuit causes the output voltage to transition into a predetermined signal level in accordance with the voltage of the first node decreasing according to the current flowing on the bit line. The second control circuit blocks the current flowing on the bit line according to the output voltage of the predetermined signal level.
