<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit protection device in which the possibility of protecting a circuit is enhanced furthermore.SOLUTION: In a circuit protection device (1) including a bimetal switch (4) and a PTC element (2), the bimetal switch and PTC element are connected electrically in parallel, and the PTC element has a resistance after operation which is 1.1 times or less of the resistivity of an electric circuit, in which the circuit protection device is built, calculated according to formula (1): rated voltage/rated current=resistivity, based on the rated voltage and rated current of the circuit.</p> |
