The present invention relates to a method for measuring an interface by an ultrasonic overlapping method. The method for measuring an interface by an ultrasonic overlapping method which measures a distance between an interface and an ultrasonic sensor with the ultrasonic sensor for detecting a carrier by transmitting ultrasonic waves, comprises: a step of consecutively receiving ultrasonic carrier signals returned by reflecting the transmitted ultrasonic waves from an interface after transmitting the ultrasonic waves to the interface; a step of extracting the reception time information of the ultrasonic carrier signal and extracting a sample signal value by performing sampling on the basis of the reception time information; a step of overlapping the sample signal values and calculating the overlapped and averaged average discrimination value of all ultrasonic carrier signals consecutively transmitted for each signal; a step of considering a signal having a maximum value among the calculated average discrimination values as a valid signal and obtaining the reception time information of the valid signal; and a step of calculating an interface distance on the basis of the time information of the valid time and ultrasonic wave propagation speed according to a medium. Accordingly, the present invention is able to accurately detect the valid signal reflected from an unstable interface on the basis of the reception time information, sampling, average discrimination value, a height value and an area according to a signal, and the final measured signal region information by utilizing the overlapping phenomenon of the carrier signal due to ultrasonic wave transmission, and is able to increase reliability on the measurement of the interface distance by detecting the valid signal without using a filtering function handling a situation according to a property of an interface. |
