PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: executing color mixture calibration in an electrophotographic device increases consumption of paper and toner.SOLUTION: A color image processing apparatus of the present invention includes: image forming means for forming a color image by using a plurality of colors of recording agents; image processing means for achieving a plurality of image processing techniques representing a plurality of types of pseudo gradations; color measurement means for measuring the color image formed by the image forming means; and control means for controlling execution of monochromatic calibration to correct reproduction characteristics of a monochromatic color formed by the image forming means, by using a result of color measurement of a pattern image including a plurality of monochromatic patch images formed by the image forming means with the use of a monochromatic recording agents by using the plurality of image processing techniques, and color mixture calibration to correct reproduction characteristics of a mixed color formed by the image forming means, by using a result of color measurement of a pattern image including a plurality of mixed-color patch images formed by the image forming means with the use of the plurality of colors of recording agents by using one of the plurality of image processing techniques. |
