<p>A ratchet pulley includes a housing, a hub, an annular pulley and a selection device. The housing has two openings for a rope to go into and go out of the housing. The hub is received in the housing and reciprocally movable between an upper position and a lower position. The annular pulley is received in the housing and rotatable on the circumference of the hub. The rope is wound over the annular pulley.
