<p>The invention relates to a device (6, 106) by means of which the rollers (3a-3d) of an inline skate or roller skate can be locked. By means of such a device (6, 106), it is possible to use the inline skate or roller skate both with movable rollers and with immovable rollers (3a-3d), in other words to ride using the device or if necessary to walk using the device. If a structural section (12, 12a, 120) that can be detachably attached to a fastening rail (15, 150) is removed, said structural section can be unfolded and can be guided in the unfolded state at least partially onto or around a roller (3a-3d) of the inline skate, whereby said roller (3a-3d) is locked.
