A propulsion device for a ship and a ship having the same are disclosed. The propulsion device for a ship according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a rear propeller fixed to a rotary shaft; a front propeller which is supported to the rotary shaft in front of the rear propeller to be rotated; a counter rotating device which reverses the rotation of the rotary shaft and transfers the reversed rotation to the front propeller; a sealing device which seals the gap between the hub of the front propeller and the hub of the rear propeller; a lubricant supply path formed in the rotary shaft; and a connecting path which is formed in the hub of the rear propeller to connect the opening hole of the lubricant supply hole formed on the outer surface of the rotary shaft and the sealing device to each other. The connecting hole of the connecting path connected to the opening hole of the lubricant supply path has a larger width than the opening hole. |
